Tender Description
The Engineering Development Board EDB (Ministry of Industries and Production) Islamabad is procuring consultancy services for sector studies in engineering industries for the financial year 2025-26. This procurement involves hiring consultant/consultancy firms to conduct six independent studies covering Home Appliances, Electrical & Power Equipment, Automotive Products & Parts, Capital Goods, Pumps, Motors & Valves, and Sanitary Fittings sectors. The scope includes assessing national productive capacity, consumer demand, installed capacity, export potential in USD, and identifying top export markets by country for each sector. The studies will be conducted using secondary data review and limited stakeholder consultations, with deliverables including inception, draft, and final reports submitted within 15-20 days from work order award. Eligible bidders must be registered consultants or firms with tax authorities, have minimum 5 years consultancy experience and 10 years progressive work experience in economics or public policy, with preference for teams including international consultants.
