Hiring of Rodent, Termite, Fumigation and Pest Control Services at NICL Building Karachi

The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), operating under the Ministry of Commerce and located in Karachi, Sindh, is procuring specialized pest control services for its NICL building. This procurement covers the hiring of services for rodent control on a regular basis and termite, fumigation, and pest control services on a quarterly basis across multiple floors including the basement, PBX room, reception, and various office floors. The scope includes the use of non-toxic or low-toxicity materials safe for indoor office environments, with special care to protect vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, elderly, and persons with respiratory conditions. The contractor is required to apply Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques combining physical and chemical control methods. All chemicals and medicines must be WHO/EPA approved with Material Safety Data Sheets provided. Weekly management of equipment by a technical person is mandatory, along with maintaining detailed records signed by the concerned HOD. Dead rodents and pests must be disposed of properly with disinfectant cleaning and air fresheners used to eliminate odors. The contractor must ensure pest control in all common and vacant areas including false ceilings, AC ducts, sewerage lines, and manholes. Eligibility criteria include having an office in Karachi, active taxpayer status, at least five years of relevant experience, and certifications for safe pesticide usage and quality standards. The contractor must deploy well-mannered pest control operators in uniform, provide consumables and equipment at their own cost, and maintain decorum on site. The contract duration is 72 days with submission of weekly and monthly reports. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on June 10, 2026, with bid security in the form of a pay order submitted physically to NICL's procurement office.
