Hiring of Security Services at University of Baltistan, Skardu

The University of Baltistan, Skardu is inviting bids for the hiring of security services to ensure the safety and security of its campus, students, staff, and property in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 under tender reference P82591. The contract involves provision of non-consultancy security services through a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Hiring of 6 Security Guards The scope of work includes protecting students, staff, visitors, and university property; monitoring entrances, exits, and campus premises; conducting regular patrols; controlling access by checking identification; responding to emergencies and security incidents; reporting suspicious activities; preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access; assisting during fire drills and evacuations; preparing daily logs and incident reports; and coordinating with relevant authorities. The contractor is responsible for salaries, taxes, insurance, and other employee liabilities. The University reserves the right to replace any unsuitable security personnel and to adjust the number of personnel during the contract period. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have relevant experience in security services, registration with NADRA/SECP/Registrar of Firms as applicable, and local operational presence in Gilgit-Baltistan.
