Tender Description
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Chakwal invites electronic bids from eligible Contractors, Firms, and Companies registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System (EP System), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), having active taxpayer status (NTN & PNTN) along with all mandatory documents as specified in the bidding documents for the year 2026-27.

- Hiring of vehicles on rental basis for official use in WASA Chakwal
The procurement involves hiring vehicles to be used officially by WASA Chakwal. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System (EP System) by 02-09-2023 up to 11:00 AM. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of the Deputy Director WASA Chakwal. The bidding process follows the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended), Punjab Procurement Regulations, 2024, and the bidding documents.
Eligibility criteria include registration with the Punjab e-Procurement System, valid NTN and PNTN, and submission of bid security by the closing date. The bidding procedure is single stage one envelope. Conditional tenders will not be accepted. Tenderers must quote rates against each item of DNIT/BOQ in their financial bids without percentage on total estimated cost. No telegraph or postal bids will be accepted.
The estimated cost is Rs. 43,76,400/- with a bid security of 5% or Rs. 2,18,220/-. The bid security will be released only after the successful bidder accepts the Letter of Intent and submits the performance guarantee through the e-Procurement Portal. Bidders are advised to upload bids well before the deadline to avoid server issues. WASA Chakwal will not be responsible for any issues related to the EP System portal. Bids must be submitted online only through the Punjab e-Procurement System portal. The last date for submission is strictly 02-09-2023 by 11:00 AM. Bids will remain valid for 60 days. If the last date falls on an official holiday, the next working day will be considered the deadline.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all mandatory documents and bid security are uploaded correctly and timely on the EP System portal to avoid disqualification due to technical errors or late submission.
