Hiring of Vendors for Social Welfare (Zakat Fund) Drugs and Medical Devices

Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital Dera Ghazi Khan invites bids/tenders from pharmacies holding valid Drug Sale License on Form 9 issued by the competent authority and minimum one year experience of sale of Drugs/Medicines / Medical devices (Surgical Disposable Items and Implants) for the Procurement of Drugs/Medicines / Medical devices (Surgical Disposable Items and Implants) through Social Welfare Zakat Fund for the Year 2026-27 Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital, Dera Ghazi Khan. Items being procured: - Drugs/Medicines - Medical devices (Surgical Disposable Items and Implants) Bidders can download the Bidding Documents of Social Welfare Zakat Fund containing Terms & Conditions through E-Procurement portal (https://e.punjab.gov.pk) and Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) website http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk free of cost. The single stage two steps bidding procedure shall be applied - bids must be uploaded via (e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System) E-Procurement (https://e.punjab.gov.pk). Location of the Pharmacy shall be within 10 Km radius of the Hospital. In case the Executive Director/Head of the Institution and the Medical Superintendent are of the opinion that the radius of 10 Km is limiting or no actual competition, they shall jointly submit the case for relaxation of 10 Km radius to the SHC&ME Department with proper justification. SHC&MED shall decide the case on merit within 7 days, and the maximum upper limit of radius may then be enhanced upto the maximum 20 Km. E-Bids shall be submitted Online on or before 14 September 2026 till 10:30 am. The bids shall be opened on the same day at 11:00 am in the presence of the bidders who choose to be there or their authorised representatives. The bidder shall provide Bid Security (Rs. 50,000) in the form of Bank Draft/Bank Guarantee/Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) Demand Draft (DD), Pay Order (PO) or Banker's cheque with Technical Proposal (Original Bid Security to be submitted on or before time of e-Bid Opening in addition to the soft copy uploaded on the E-Procurement. (https://e.punjab.gov.pk). Note: All assessments and procuring procedures i.e. receiving, opening and awarding etc. shall be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (Amended). The URL of the website of the PPRA is (http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/View_Tender.aspx) and response time shall be calculated exclusively from the date of publication of the advertisement on the website the PPRA. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your pharmacy location strictly complies with the 10 Km radius requirement or obtain prior written approval for relaxation to avoid disqualification.
