Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the up-gradation of a Hydraulic CNC Double Spindle Boring System at Heavy Industries Taxila, Punjab. The Supply Chain Management Directorate requires qualified firms to supply, install, commission, and train personnel on this advanced machine tool, essential for simultaneous boring of engine crank case journals.
The scope includes upgrading the boring system to meet OEM specifications, installation and commissioning at HIT premises, and operational demonstration. The machine must handle 6TD-I/II engine crank cases with precise CNC control, featuring ISO 9001 certification and specific spindle and feed parameters. The supplier must also provide comprehensive documentation, maintenance plans, and all necessary accessories and tools for efficient operation.
Bidders must comply with PEC and FBR requirements, including valid NTN and Sales Tax registration. Firms should be registered or provisionally registered with HIT and submit audited financial reports for the last three years. The tender demands a bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or equivalent, and firms must ensure compliance with the 2025-26 fiscal year regulations.
The submission deadline is set for 23 February 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes at Gate No 5, HIT Taxila Cantt. Postal orders of Rs 2000/- must accompany the technical bid.
