Improvement and Construction of Road from Sehwan Jhangara Road to Garhi Wari (Strategic Area) Mile 0/0-1/1+200' (1.854 Kms)

The Provincial Highway Division Jamshoro is inviting bids for the improvement and construction of the road from Sehwan Jhangara Road to Garhi Wari (Strategic Area) covering Mile 0/0 to 1/1+200' with a total length of 1.854 kilometers. This project is part of the Annual Development Plan (ADP) with an estimated cost of **PKR 85.742 million**. The procurement method is Single Stage Single Envelope and the tender is open to all eligible contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and relevant tax authorities. Items being procured: - Scarifying the existing road surface (114,859 Sft) - Preparing sub grade including earth excavation or filling to an average depth of 9" (10,877 Sft) - Excavation in existing berm for widening the road including preparation of sub-grade (27,165 Sft) - Preparing sub-base course by supplying and spreading stone metal 1-1/2"-2" gauge (16,305 Cft) - Laying brick on end edging including supply of first class burnt bricks (12,563 Rft) - Preparing base course by supplying and spreading stone metal of approved quality in 2 layers (76,090 Cft) - Providing first coat of surface dressing with 30 LBS bitumen 80/100 penetration and 4.0 Bajri 1/2"-3/4" gauge (152,180 Sft) - Laying 2" (50 mm) thick Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course with plant mixed asphalt concrete paver (152,180 Sft) - Earthwork for road embankment by bulldozers including ploughing, mixing, clod breaking, dressing and compacting (106,087 Cft) - Thermo Plastic Paint pavement marking for lines of 6" width (17,773 Rft) - Supplying and fixing reflectorized road studs double face flush surface type (419 Nos) - Fixing village boards and caution boards with G.I pipe posts (2 and 6 Nos respectively) - Precast RCC kilometer posts including foundation work, painting and lettering (2 Nos) The technical scope includes earthworks, sub-grade preparation, sub-base and base course laying, asphalt concrete wearing course, surface dressing, road markings, and installation of road safety features such as reflectorized studs and signage. The site is located in Jamshoro district, Sindh province. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with PEC in the relevant category and discipline, possess valid FBR registration, and demonstrate experience in similar road construction projects. Bidders must submit a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and comply with all bidding document requirements including submission of a technical proposal and company profile.
