Tender Description
The Town Municipal Corporation Gadap Karachi is procuring works for the improvement of a motorable road designated for the juloos route connecting Imam Bargah Madinatul ilam, Ali Ul Murtaza and Charsada Imam Bargah in Ghaghar City UC Ghaghar. This project involves civil and road infrastructure works aimed at enhancing accessibility and safety for the procession route.
The technical scope includes preparing a sub-base with well-graded gravel, laying an aggregate base course with CBR 80% as per AASHTO standards, manufacturing and supplying precast RCC ring slabs, and manhole covers with specified dimensions and reinforcement. The work is to be executed within a 90-day period, ensuring compliance with the Composite Schedule of Rates and relevant technical specifications.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category, possess valid NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, and have at least five years of relevant experience. The bidder should have completed similar works of at least 80% of the estimated cost or two works each of 50% of the estimated cost. A minimum turnover of PKR 4 million over the last five years is required.
The tender documents are available and must be submitted online via the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) website. The bid security of 5% of the bid price and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2000 must accompany the bid. The deadline for submission is 11:00 AM on 2nd July 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the office of the Director (Contract Management), Town Municipal Corporation Gadap, Karachi.
