Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 05 Town Municipal Corporation, District Central, Karachi - Package 04

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 05 Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) in District Central, Karachi under Package 04. The project includes the improvement and rehabilitation of roads towards 4100 Road Parveen Shakir Road, 4300 Road, and the services road from Nagan Chowrangi to Power House Chowrangi, all located in TMC New Karachi, District Central, Karachi. Items being procured: - Improvement/Rehabilitation of road towards 4100 Road Parveen Shakir Road - Improvement/Rehabilitation of road at 4300 Road - Improvement/Rehabilitation of services road from Nagan Chowrangi to Power House Chowrangi The scope covers dismantling of existing asphalt and cement concrete roads, earth excavation, cartage of materials, preparation of sub-base and aggregate base course, application of tack coat, laying of asphalt concrete wearing course, repair of leakages in RCC and MS pipelines, raising of sewerage manholes, repairing drainage works, cleaning and de-silting of storm water drains, construction of manholes, and ancillary works including pavement marking and installation of cat eyes. The technical scope requires compliance with specifications for materials, workmanship, and construction methods, including use of approved machinery and adherence to quality standards. The project duration is 24 months with a penalty of Rs. 3000 per day for delay. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in category C-3 or above with relevant disciplines, registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, submission of bid security of 5% of estimated cost, and provision of an Integrity Pact. Bidders must have relevant experience, financial capacity, and equipment as per the bidding documents. Bids must be submitted online via the SPPRA e-Procurement System (EPADS) by 25-08-2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of the Chairman Procurement Committee, Engineering Department, KMC, Muslimabad, Karachi. Financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened later as notified.
