Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 4 Town Municipal Corporations in District Korangi, Karachi - Package 03

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 4 Town Municipal Corporations (TMCs) in District Korangi, Karachi under ADP#1770/2026-27, Package 03. This comprehensive civil works project includes three major components: (I) Providing and fixing paving blocks on internal streets and improvement of drainage system at Shareefabad Korangi Industrial Area (Mehran Town), (II) Construction of Hussain Budha Road (Dual Track) in TMC Korangi, and (III) Providing and laying wearing course including restoration of trench at Sindh Government Hospital Road Khokrapar No. 2 (Dual Track) in TMC Korangi. Items being procured: - Providing & fixing of paving blocks internal streets - Improvement of drainage system at Shareefabad Korangi Industrial Area - Construction of Hussain Budha Road (Dual Track) - Providing & laying wearing course including restoration of trench at Sindh Govt Hospital Road Khokrapar No. 2 (Dual Track) The scope covers earthwork excavation, dismantling of existing concrete, cartage of materials, aggregate base course preparation, paving block flooring, precast edge blocks, RCC manhole covers and ring slabs, sewerage pipeline excavation and installation, manhole construction, road pavement marking, and installation of reflective road studs. The project demands high-quality materials and workmanship, adherence to specifications, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-3 or above with relevant discipline codes, registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), and on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Bidders must demonstrate financial capability, technical expertise, and experience in similar large-scale civil works projects. A bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is required. The contract duration is 24 months with a penalty of Rs. 3000 per day for delay. Bids must be submitted online via the SPPRA e-Procurement System (EPADS) by 26-08-2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of the Chairman Procurement Committee, Engineering Department, KMC, Muslimabad, Karachi. Financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened later as notified.
