Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 4 Town Municipal Corporations in District Korangi, Karachi - Package 02

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 4 Town Municipal Corporations (TMCS) in District Korangi, Karachi under ADP#1770/2026-27, Package 02. The project includes the construction and rehabilitation of roads and associated infrastructure in Korangi, Karachi. The specific works include: - Construction of road from Fazal-e-Ilahi Hospital to PSO Pump Allah Wala Town (Dual Track) - Construction of road Zero Point to Crossing 16000 Road (Mehrunisa Hospital Road) (Dual Track) - Construction of Qayyumabad Road Union Council Office UC-01 - Construction and carpeting of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Road and improvement of drainage system (100 ft wide road) The scope covers earthwork excavation, sub-base preparation, aggregate base course, asphalt concrete wearing course, precast edge blocks, pavement marking, road studs, sewerage works including RCC pipes and manholes, footpath paving blocks, and related civil works. The works require use of quality materials, adherence to specifications, and compliance with local laws and standards. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in category C-3 or above with relevant disciplines, NTN and active taxpayer status with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, minimum average annual turnover not less than the cost of work, availability of required machinery and equipment, and experience in similar works. Bidders must submit bid security of 5% of estimated cost and an integrity pact on stamp paper. The contract duration is 24 months with a penalty of Rs. 3000 per day for delay.
