Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in Saddar Town Municipal Corporation (TMC), District South, Karachi, under Provincial ADP #1768/2026-27. The procuring agency is the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department. The project includes multiple packages covering key roads and sewerage systems in Saddar Town.

- Rehabilitation of Main Roads, Installation of Paver Blocks and Sewerage System in Ghari Khata, Urdu Bazar and Sobraj Hospital Area (UC-08 & UC-09)
- Improvement/Rehabilitation of Hatim Alvi Road from Do Talwar to Shahrah-e-Firdous & Moti Lal Gover Dhandas Road
- Improvement/Rehabilitation of Framrose Road at Hijrat Colony
The technical scope includes dismantling existing road surfaces, scarifying, cold milling, aggregate base course laying, asphalt concrete wearing course, sewerage pipeline excavation and installation, manhole construction, paving blocks installation, and ancillary works such as road studs and thermoplastic pavement marking. The project requires use of quality materials meeting AASHTO and ASTM standards, with proper compaction and finishing.
Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in category C-3 or above with relevant disciplines, NTN and active taxpayer status with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, minimum annual turnover matching project scale, experience in similar government projects, and submission of detailed technical and financial proposals. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost. The contract duration is 6 months with a penalty of Rs. 3000 per day for delay.
