Tender Description
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road, Sewerage Work and Fixing of Paver Block at Block No. 19 FB Area Gulberg Town, District Central Karachi. This project involves comprehensive civil works including excavation, laying of RCC pipes, sewerage manholes construction, road metaling dismantling, earthwork excavation, sub-base preparation, aggregate base course laying, asphalt concrete paving, and cement paving blocks flooring. The scope also includes repair of RCC and metal pipe leakages and finishing works such as cement concrete topping.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and possess valid NTN and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) registration certificates. Experience in similar government sector projects with completion certificates is mandatory. The technical bid should include company profile, financial statements, list of machinery, and CVs of engineering staff. The estimated cost of the project is bold PKR 20,000,000 and the bid security is 5% of the estimated cost.
