Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of street lighting system at various roads in District Malir, Karachi. The project covers the following roads: UC Office Ghaghar to Mari Goth, National Highway to Dawood Shoro Goth, Muhabat Nagar to Football House, Mominabad Phatak to Shah Jahan Road. (5 Nos) - Providing and fixing Magnetic Contractor FC80N (5 Nos) - Providing and fixing 10 Amps Photo cell (National Japan) (5 Nos) - Providing and fixing LED street light 150 Watt Aluminum die cast IP-66 with powder coated housing, 1501 m/watt, CRI 70+, 10KV SPD, 3 years replacement warranty (200 Nos) - Providing ABC connectors suitable for 16mm ABC bundle cable (500 Nos) - Laying ABC bundle cable two core 16mm Aluminum Conductor (4200 Mtr) - Providing and fixing Distribution Board 18"x16"x6" with locking, bus bar, clamps, nuts & bolts (5 Nos) - Providing 30 Amps Switch with wooden board and necessary fixing accessories (200 Nos) The technical scope includes installation of electrical street lighting infrastructure including cables, poles, circuit breakers, photo cells, LED lights, and distribution boards. The work involves civil foundation construction, electrical installation, and rehabilitation of existing street lighting systems. The site is located in District Malir, Karachi. Eligibility criteria require valid PEC registration in C-5, EE-06 or above, NTN certificate, active tax payer status, Sindh Revenue Board registration, valid Electric Contractors License from Electrical Inspector Sindh (Karachi Region), PEC registered engineer on staff, and proven experience of similar works in the last five years with financial soundness demonstrated by bank statements and turnover.
