Improvement and Rehabilitation of Street Lighting System at Bacha Khan Flyover, District West, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of the street lighting system at Bacha Khan Flyover, District West, Karachi. XS-100NS) on prepared boards - Providing and fixing Magnetic Contractor FC80N as required - Installation of 10 Amps Photo cells (National Japan) after removal of existing damaged photo cells - Providing and fixing LED street lights 150 Watt Aluminum die cast IP-66 with powder coated housing, 150 lm/watt, CRI 70+, 10KV SPD with 3 years replacement warranty - Installation of LED Flood lights IP65 150W at height using hydraulic crane - Providing ABC connectors suitable for 16mm ABC bundle cable - Laying ABC bundle cable two core 10mm Aluminum conductor - Providing and fixing distribution boards 18"x16"x6" with locking arrangement and bus bars - Dismantling of street light fittings 250 watts including loading, unloading and transportation to KMC workshop - Painting of street light/high mast poles up to 40 ft with two coats of ICI oil paint The technical scope includes rehabilitation of the existing street lighting infrastructure, replacement of damaged cables, installation of energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures, and associated electrical works. The site is located at Bacha Khan Flyover in District West, Karachi. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid PEC registration in categories C-5, EE-06 or above, NTN certificate, active tax payer status, Sindh Revenue Board registration, valid electrical contractor license from the Government of Sindh (Karachi Region), and proof of PEC registered engineer on staff. Experience of similar works in the last five years is mandatory, with at least one work equivalent to 80% of the estimated cost or two works equivalent to 50% each. Financial soundness must be demonstrated with a minimum annual turnover not less than the estimated cost. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost and must be submitted via pay order in favor of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. Tender cost is Rs. 5,000.
