The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of the Street Lighting System at Manghopir Road from Banaras to New Nazimabad in District West, Karachi. The site is located in Karachi, Sindh province. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid PEC registration in categories C-5, EE-06 or above, NTN certificate with active tax payer status, registration with Sindh Revenue Board, valid electrical contractor license from the Government of Sindh (Karachi region), and proof of PEC registered engineer associated with the firm. Experience of executing similar works within the last five years is mandatory, with at least one work equivalent to 80% of the estimated cost or two works equivalent to 50% each. Financial soundness must be demonstrated with a minimum annual turnover not less than the estimated cost. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost and must be submitted as a pay order in favor of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. Tender cost is Rs. 5,000.
