Improvement and Rehabilitation of Street Lights at Rasheedabad District Keamari Karachi

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of street lights at Rasheedabad District Keamari, Karachi. Items being procured: - Providing and laying two core copper conductor PVC insulated and sheathed cable 2.5mm2 (900 Rft) - Fixing MS tubular poles 31ft with base plate, holes, stiffeners, and painting - Construction of RCC foundation for poles including excavation, stone soiling, and concrete work - Providing and fixing GI single arm double arch as per site requirements - Providing and fixing 400 watt flood lights with complete wiring - Installation of circuit breakers of various amperages - Providing and fixing magnetic contractors FC80N - Installation of 10 Amps photo cells - Supply and fixing of ABC connectors and ABC bundle cables - Fixing of shackle insulators, iron clamps, U-clamps - Installation of LED street lights 150 watt with powder coated housing and SPD The technical scope includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of electrical components and street lighting fixtures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and site conditions. The work requires experienced contractors with valid PEC registration in category C-6 or EE-06 and above, valid electrical contractor license from the Government of Sindh, and proven experience in similar projects within the last five years. Financial soundness is also required with a minimum annual turnover not less than the estimated cost. Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS e-procurement system by 21-08-2026 at 2:00 PM. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 2:30 PM at the Office of Superintending Engineer (E&M), 512 J.M New M.A. Jinnah Road Gurumandir Karachi. A bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is required along with a tender cost of Rs. 5,000. The bid validity period is 90 days. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per SPPRA rules.
