Tender Description
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Surrounding Areas of Masajid and Juloos Way of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal in Karachi. This tender is a significant opportunity for contractors specializing in civil and road works, sewerage, and related infrastructure improvements in Sindh's largest city.

- Dismantling of existing asphalt concrete road including base, sub-base and disposal
- Scarifying existing road surface by cold milling up to 50mm depth

- Cartage of materials like aggregates, spawl, coal, lime, surkhi, M.S. bars, bricks, fuel wood
- Preparing sub-base with well graded pit or bed run gravel
- Providing and laying aggregate base course with CBR 80%
- Fixing cement paving blocks flooring of various sizes and strengths
- Applying tack coat and laying 2" thick asphalt concrete wearing course
- Repair of leakage of RCC and MS pipe lines under roadway
- Raising existing sewerage manholes/service chambers
- Excavation for pipeline trenches and pits
- Cartage of materials for sewerage work
- Full hire charges of pumping set for water removal
- Laying RCC pipes of various diameters
- Construction of manholes with BB cement mortar and fixing covers
- Cleaning inside sewerage lines mechanically and electrically
- Manufacturing and supplying RCC manhole covers
The technical scope includes comprehensive road rehabilitation with asphalt and concrete works, sewerage pipeline installation and repair, manhole construction, and site preparation.
