The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Installation of LED Street Lights at Dak Khana Flyover, District Central, Karachi. Items being procured: - Providing & laying two core copper conductor PVC insulated and sheeted cable 2.5mm2, 900 Rft - Fixing MS tubular poles of 6 meters height with base plate and stiffeners - Manufacturing and fixing GI double arm canopy type with GI pipe 2" dia - Installation of circuit breakers ranging from 15 to 100 Amps on prepared boards - Fixing Magnetic Contractor FC80N - Installation of 10 Amps Photo cells (National Japan) - Providing and fixing LED street lights 150 Watt Aluminum die cast IP-66 with powder coated housing, minimum 150 lm/watt, CRI 70+, 10KV SPD with 3 years replacement warranty, 78 units - Installation of ABC connectors suitable for 16mm ABC bundle cable - Laying ABC bundle cable four core 16mm Aluminum conductor, 2200 meters - Fixing sets of shackle insulator, iron clamp, U-clamp with nuts and bolts - Dismantling of existing 250 watts street light fittings including transportation - Painting of street light/high mast poles up to 31/40 ft with two coats of ICI oil paint - Providing and fixing distribution boards 18"x18"x8" with locking arrangement - Construction of RCC foundations for poles including dismantling of existing New Jersey barriers and making base plates and rings The technical scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of LED street lighting systems with all associated civil and electrical works at the Dak Khana Flyover site. The work requires skilled labor, use of hydraulic cranes for pole erection, and adherence to safety and quality standards as per Karachi Metropolitan Corporation instructions.
