Installation of Power Transformer Bay and Underground External Electricity Distribution System at AWT 132KV Grid Station Downtown

This tender invites eligible firms to execute critical electrical infrastructure works at the AWT 132KV Grid Station located in Downtown, Lahore under the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). The procurement focuses on two main works: installation of a Power Transformer Bay (20/26MVA) and the complete Underground External Electricity Distribution System at the same site. Items being procured: - Installation of Power Transformer Bay (20/26MVA) at AWT 132KV Grid Station - Underground External Electricity Distribution System of AWT Downtown The first scope involves comprehensive design preparation, approval from LESCO, complete installation, testing, commissioning, energization, and formal handover of the Power Transformer Bay. The second scope covers the full installation, testing, commissioning, energization, and handover of the underground external electricity distribution system to LESCO. Eligible bidders must hold a valid PEC registration with Category C1 and above for the transformer bay work, and Category C3 and above for the underground distribution system, including specialized electrical codes EE05, EE04, and CE10. Only firms registered with PEPCO/WAPDA/LESCO/NTDC for the respective works are eligible. Active taxpayer status with FBR and PRA is mandatory. The project cost for the transformer bay is approximately PKR 430,707,006 on a turnkey basis, and PKR 109,697,796 for the underground system.
