Installation of Solar Lights in Charsadda District

The Local Government and Rural Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed tenders for the installation of solar lights in various market areas and surroundings of Charsadda District including Sardheri Bazar, Rajjar Bazar Road, Wardaga Mitto Killi, Mani Khela Bazar, Dheri Zardad Bazar, Sheikh Utmanzai Bazar, and Turangzai. This project aims to enhance public safety and infrastructure through sustainable solar power solutions. The technical scope covers the supply and installation of solar lighting systems at multiple sites within the district. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under the relevant category and possess the required specialization codes as per the bidding documents. Firms must also be active taxpayers with valid FBR and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) registration for the current financial year. The estimated cost of the project is bold PKR 40 million, with a bid security of 2% of the estimated cost required in the form of a call deposit receipt (CDR) in favor of the Assistant Director LG&RDD Headquarters Charsadda. The last date for submission of electronic tender forms is 23rd June 2026 at 12:00 pm, with technical bids opening at 12:30 pm the same day. Interested bidders should download bidding documents from the official EPADS website and upload a clear scanned copy during application. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all bid security details and additional securities are correctly entered in the EPADS system and that the original CDRs are couriered to the designated office before the closing time. This will prevent disqualification due to incomplete or inaccurate submissions. Timely clarifications can be sought until 10th June 2026 at 5:00 pm.
