Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Buildings Division Water and Sanitation Matiari is procuring the installation of a solar system at GBELSS Ali-ul-Waliullah Bhitshah Campus located in Matiari, Sindh. This project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power equipment to enhance energy sustainability at the campus.
The technical scope includes the provision of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, wiring, and all associated civil and electrical works necessary for a complete and functional solar power system. The contractor is expected to comply with the specifications and drawings provided by the procuring agency and ensure quality workmanship and materials.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category for works of this nature and value. They should also be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in similar solar installation projects and financial capability as per the tender requirements are mandatory.
Bids must be submitted to the Office of the Executive Engineer, Buildings Division Water and Sanitation at the Deputy Commissioner Office Matiari by 10:30 AM on 1st June 2026. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM. Earnest Money in the form of a Bid Security amounting to 5% of the bid price is required. The bid validity period is 90 days.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all bid documents, including the technical data and schedules, are thoroughly completed and signed as per the instructions. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. Also, carefully review the addenda and clarifications issued before bid submission to avoid disqualification.
