Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Education Works Division Matiari is procuring the installation of a solar power system at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Khyber in Taluka and District Matiari. This project is part of the UEP 2025-26 Phase-IV and involves the supply and installation of Grade-A Tier 1 550 watt Mono-Perc solar panels, a 7 KW hybrid inverter with IP65 rating and 5-year warranty, tall tubular batteries of 12 volts 300 amp capacity, and the complete PV balance of system including mounting structures, wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels. The scope also includes operation and maintenance for two years, with regular cleaning and maintenance of inverters and batteries. The site is located in Matiari, Sindh, and the contract duration is three months from the written order to commence work.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council under category CE-10 for the year 2025-26, hold an electrical contractor license issued by the Electric Inspector for Mirpurkhas Region valid through 2026, and be active on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayer List with NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration. Experience requirements include having completed similar works in the last five years with at least one project of 80% or two projects of 50% of the estimated cost. Bidders must submit separate sealed envelopes for Technical and Financial Proposals, clearly marked and including the NIT number and work number.
The tender documents are available for download from the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) website of SPPRA Sindh. The deadline for bid submission is 04.06.2026 at 12:00 AM, with technical proposals opening at 01:00 PM the same day at the Executive Engineer's office at Government Boys Degree College Matiari. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened later as communicated on the portal. Earnest money in the form of 5% Call Deposit from a scheduled bank in favor of the Executive Engineer Education Works Division Matiari must accompany bids. Conditional or incomplete tenders will be rejected.

Attention to detail in filling the bidding documents and adherence to the prescribed format will improve chances of success. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per SPPRA rules.
