Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Hangu is procuring the installation of a solar system for the Drinking Water Supply Scheme (DWSS) at Pattak Banda, Hangu. This project involves the supply and installation of solar power equipment to support water supply infrastructure in the region. The scope includes all necessary materials, installation works, and commissioning of the solar system to ensure reliable and sustainable energy for the water supply scheme.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), KP Revenue Authority (KPRA), and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Firms should have relevant experience in solar system installations and must provide all attested registration documents. The procurement follows the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended), under a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure through the E-PADS online system.
The tender documents can be downloaded from the EPADS website before the closing date. Bidders are required to submit both technical and financial bids electronically via EPADS and also provide a hard copy sealed envelope to the Executive Engineer, PHE Division Hangu, by registered courier before the deadline. The bid security is 2% of the estimated cost in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) with stamp duty. Technical bids will be opened on 7th May 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Executive Engineer's office, with financial bids opened later for qualified bidders.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 29th April 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Executive Engineer's office. Bidders should note that bids quoting 10% to 20% below the engineer's estimate must provide an additional 8% security. The bid validity period is 90 days from the opening date. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure all bid documents are complete and free from overwriting or corrections, as any such issues may lead to disqualification. Timely submission of both electronic and hard copies is crucial to avoid rejection.
