Tender Description
The Local Government and Rural Development Department at Tehsil Headquarter District Hangu is procuring extensive development works focused on uplifting and beautification activities. This tender covers installation of street lights, construction of entry gates, monuments, latrine blocks, and improvement of green spaces and public areas across various locations in District Hangu. The projects include installation of over 250 street lights at multiple sites such as Sangher Road, Shaho & Muslim Abad Road, Station Road, Doaba Bazar, Thall Bazar, and several union councils. Additionally, construction works involve entry gates with street lighting and CCTV, latrine blocks, monuments, waiting sheds, and beautification of picnic spots, cricket grounds, and model streets.
The technical scope demands expertise in electrical works, particularly street lighting installation, along with civil construction for gates, monuments, and sanitation facilities. The tender also includes landscaping and green belt development, requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C6 or above, with specialization in electrical and solar power works. Valid registration with the Electrical Inspectorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) is mandatory. Registration with the Pakistan Private Infrastructure Board (PPIB) is also required.
The tender follows a single stage single envelope procedure with electronic bid submission through EPADS. The last date and time for submission is 29th June 2026 at 12:15 PM, with bid opening at 2:00 PM the same day. Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must be prepared at 2% of the estimated cost and physically delivered to the Assistant Director (Senior) LG&RDD Tehsil Headquarter Hangu before bid closing.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all bid documents are uploaded neatly and clearly on EPADS, avoiding any cutting or overwriting, as this can lead to disqualification. Also, timely courier delivery of original bid security to the office is crucial to avoid rejection. This tender offers a significant opportunity for contractors with electrical and civil works experience to contribute to the infrastructure development of District Hangu in the financial year 2025-26.
