Tender Description
The Supply Chain Management Directorate of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan, is procuring an Installation of Surveillance and Monitoring System. This procurement is specifically for the installation and supply of advanced surveillance equipment including 4k 8 MP-IP cameras, 4 MP-IP cameras, NVR 16 channel units, Seagate Surveillance 4 TB HDDs, Hikvision POE Gigabit Switches, desktop networking switches, LCD monitors, biometric machines for access control, media converters, and various miscellaneous items such as camera boxes, PVC pipe ducts, splicing boxes, and power cables.
The technical scope covers the supply, installation, complete testing, and commissioning of the surveillance system at the HIT Taxila site. The system includes outdoor IP cameras with two-way audio and IP66 grade protection, biometric access control machines with fingerprint and smart standalone features, and networking equipment to support the system. The delivery period is within one month after signing the contract.
Eligible bidders must be registered with HIT or provide valid agency agreements and meet the eligibility criteria as per DPP&I-35. Firms must submit NTN certificates, valid registration with government or semi-government organizations, audit reports for the last three financial years, bank statements, CNIC copies of CEO/Director, and other relevant documents. A postal order of Rs. 2000/- must be enclosed with the technical bid. Bid security in the form of CDR, bank draft, or pay order is mandatory. The bid validity period is 180 days extendable by 90 days.
The tender submission deadline is **04 May 2026 at 10:30 hours** at the Tender Box available at Gate No. 5, Heavy Industries Taxila, Taxila Cantt. The technical proposal and financial proposal must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes within one large envelope. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:00 hours in the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila.
