Tender Description
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) invites qualified suppliers to establish and operate a Laboratory Collection Point (LCP) at the SSGC Medical Center in Nawabshah. This procurement is specifically for setting up a fully functional lab collection facility within the medical center premises to facilitate sample collection, identification, temporary storage, and safe transport of specimens for laboratory tests prescribed by SSGC medical officers for eligible employees and dependents.
The scope includes patient registration, specimen collection (blood, urine, stool, swabs), pre-analytical quality controls, cold-chain maintenance, packaging and transportation of specimens to designated labs, safe disposal of biohazardous waste, and timely reporting of results. The contractor must provide qualified staff including phlebotomists and lab technicians, ensure staff security clearance, maintain equipment such as phlebotomy chairs, vacutainers, PPE, and temperature monitoring devices, and comply with all safety and biomedical waste regulations.
Eligibility requires suppliers to be active in the FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and comply with SSGC policies. Bidders must submit technical and financial proposals separately under the Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure. A fixed bid bond of PKR 25,000 is mandatory. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS by 30-April-2026 at 12:30 hours, with public opening at 13:00 hours the same day.
The tender emphasizes contract performance monitoring, confidentiality of patient data, and strict adherence to operational timings from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Suppliers should note that bids without earnest money or bid bond will be rejected. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure complete and signed documentation uploaded on EPADS and timely submission of the physical bid bond to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a valuable opportunity to serve a key medical facility of SSGC in Sindh with a critical healthcare support service.
