Tender Description
The National University of Technology (NUTECH) Islamabad is procuring a comprehensive range of advanced lab equipment for the GIZ Project. This procurement is specifically for Islamabad and includes high-tech items such as 3D printers, spot welding machines, irradiance meters, EEG systems, power quality analyzers, IV curve tracers, thermal cameras, SSDs, RAM modules, workstations, LCD monitors, developer kits, EEG kits, 3D scanners, metallurgical microscopes, vacuum pycnometers, and other specialized scientific instruments.
The technical scope covers a wide variety of equipment suitable for industrial, medical, and research applications. The items include industrial-grade 3D printers with high-temperature capabilities, spot welding machines for automobile and heavy steel assembly, wearable EEG headsets for brain-computer interface research, and professional field test kits for power quality analysis. The equipment must be brand new, OEM certified, and accompanied by detailed technical literature and brochures. Re-conditioned or refurbished items are not acceptable.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) as active taxpayers and comply with all registration requirements. Firms should have relevant experience and provide original bid security (CDR) of 2% of the quoted amount. The procurement follows a Single Stage Single Envelope method with bids submitted electronically via EPADS. The original bid security and tender fee must be submitted before the closing date. The validity of offers should be at least 90 days from the financial bid opening date.
The closing date for submission is **11 May 2026** by 23:59:59, with bid opening scheduled on the same day at 1130 hours.
