Tender Description
WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela invites sealed quotations from registered contractors and laundry service providers for a comprehensive laundry services contract valid for three years. The contract requires installation of washing, steam, and dryer plants within the college premises to ensure high-quality laundry services for approximately 450 cadets. Items being procured:\n- Laundry services as per Terms of Reference (TOR) for 450 students\n\nThe contractor must provide two washings per cadet weekly, with additional washings on special occasions, and daily pressing services. Utility bills for electricity and gas will be borne by the contractor, who is also responsible for installing meters. Only branded detergents approved by the college management are permitted. The contractor must deploy a minimum of six workers plus a supervisor and maintain service continuity during vacations by assigning at least one worker on site. Minor repairs including painting are the contractor's responsibility, while major repairs remain with the college. Payment will be made monthly based on average cadet strength, with pro-rata adjustments if cadets attend less than 20 days per month.\n\nEligibility criteria include registration with the Income Tax Department, active FBR tax status, submission of NTN and STRN certificates, experience certificates from at least five similar institutions, and provision of bid security amounting to 2% of the bid value via bank draft. Performance security of 3% (total 5%) of the order value is required upon award. Bidders must submit a signed tender document, covering letter, tender fee receipt, bid money, and relevant experience and financial documents. Blacklisted firms or those in litigation with government entities will be disqualified.\n\nThe tender opening is scheduled for 16-11-2026 at 11:00 am. Bidders are advised to inspect the site prior to submission and ensure compliance with all terms. The college reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning reasons. Payments will be processed within one week of bill submission.\n\nA practical tip for bidders: Ensure all bid documents are complete, signed on every page, and submitted before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
