Engagement of Law Firm or Association for Legal Advisory Services on Retainer Basis

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO), a major state-owned enterprise responsible for the operation and maintenance of the power distribution system across southern Punjab, is seeking to engage a reputed law firm, association of persons, or partnership on a retainer basis. The selected entity will provide comprehensive legal advisory services to safeguard MEPCO's legal interests, ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and offer expert advice in corporate, regulatory, contractual, operational, and administrative matters. Items being procured: - Engagement of a Law Firm / Association of Persons / Partnership for legal advisory services on a retainer basis (scope includes corporate, regulatory, contractual, operational, and administrative legal matters) The technical scope covers ongoing legal support, compliance assurance, and representation in various legal forums as required by MEPCO. Interested parties must demonstrate relevant experience in handling legal matters for large public sector organizations, with a proven track record in corporate and regulatory law. Firms must be registered with the relevant bar councils and should be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. Earnest Money in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order from a scheduled bank of Pakistan, as specified in the bidding documents, is mandatory. The deadline for submission is **August 28, 2026, by 11:00 AM**. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM.
