Tender Description
The Citrus Research Institute in Sargodha is offering a lease for 142 orchard plots for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This opportunity is specifically for the cultivation of citrus orchards at the institute’s experimental farm located on Millat Road, Sargodha. The lease period covers one year starting from the date of agreement.
Interested parties are required to submit their applications by 14th July 2026. The lease amount is set at PKR 100,000 per orchard plot, payable in advance along with a security deposit. The successful bidders will be those who pay the lease amount and security deposit timely and comply with the institute’s terms and conditions. The lease will be awarded based on the highest bid received for the orchard plots.
Applicants must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and have a valid NTN. Experience in orchard management or agriculture is preferred to ensure proper utilization of the leased land. The technical bid should include proof of financial capability and previous experience in similar agricultural leases.
The submission deadline is strictly 14th July 2026, and applications must be delivered to the Citrus Research Institute office at Post Box 72, Millat Road, Sargodha. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) should accompany the bid as per the institute’s requirements.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentation, including FBR registration and financial proofs, are complete and submitted well before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Early submission also allows time for any clarifications or corrections. This lease offers a valuable opportunity for agricultural entrepreneurs and farmers to expand their citrus production in a well-established research environment.
