Loading and Transportation/Carriage of Rock Salt from Makrach Mine No. 63 at PMDC Salt Mines, Makrach

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the loading and transportation/carriage of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 63 at PMDC Salt Mines, Makrach. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with open competitive bidding and least cost based selection technique. The contract is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and the services are to be provided for a period of one year starting from September 30, 2026. Items being procured: - Loading and transportation of good quality rock salt (excluding boulders/lumpy size rock salt and mixing of fines locally called 'soor') from Makrach Mine No. 63 to Makrach Weighbridge including loading and unloading, estimated quantity up to 3000 MT annually - Loading and transportation of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 63 to Makrach Bhelowal Depot including loading and unloading, estimated quantity up to 1200 MT annually (for emergency use only) - Loading and transportation of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 63 to M/s. LCI Khewra (Direct) including loading and unloading, estimated quantity 1200 MT annually (distance 36 KM) The scope includes careful handling to ensure quality standards are met, with no mixing of fines or loading of boulders. The actual quantities are subject to dispatch requirements and quality fulfillment. Bidders must be registered and meet eligibility criteria including NADRA citizenship, FBR NTN, Punjab PRA registration, and provide experience certificates and financial soundness proof. Bid security of PKR 100,000 is required. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by August 27, 2026 at 03:00 PM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 03:30 PM. The submission of original bid security must be made to PMDC Head Office, Sector H-9, Islamabad.
