The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi, invites bids for the local purchase of drugs, medicines, and disposable items on a 24/7 emergency basis for its Trauma and Emergency Response Center (SMBB-TERC) located in Sukkur. This procurement is critical to ensure uninterrupted medical supplies for emergency services throughout the financial years 2026-27 and 2027-28. Items being procured include: - Drugs - Medicines - Disposable items The procurement requires suppliers to maintain a medical store within 1 km of the procuring agency or nearest proximity to SMBBIT Sukkur. The medical store must have its own software for managing indent forms, medicine details, and billing; manual records are not accepted. All invoices must comply with the specified software format. The supply process includes regular indenting by shifts, emergency supply via WhatsApp group, and strict delivery timelines of within 2 hours or by the end of the shift. Failure to meet deadlines may result in warnings and penalties. Technical eligibility requires valid drug sales licenses, NTN registration, GST certificates where applicable, and at least three years of relevant experience supported by supply orders and performance certificates. Bidders must submit bid security of Rs. 500,000 and performance security of Rs. 1,000,000. The contract period is for the financial year 2026-27 with possible extension. Delivery locations include SMBBIT Karachi and its satellite trauma centers in Sindh. Bids must be submitted electronically via the EPADS SPPRA portal. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000 in the form of a pay order in favor of SMBBIT Karachi is mandatory and must be submitted before bid submission.
