Tender Description
The Central Ordnance Depot Lahore Cantt invites sealed bids from original manufacturers, authorized distributors, and contractors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments for the local purchase of ordnance stores intended for EME Installations and Machines / Items for the Army Store Inspection Depot. These stores are to be used by the Pakistan Army, with detailed items and specifications held with the Lahore Headquarters Depot.

The procurement covers supply, delivery, installation, and on-site functionality testing of stores at Regional Workshops across Pakistan as per the specified requirements. Suppliers must submit separate Technical and Commercial offers, with technical specifications and brochures attached. Rates must be quoted in Pakistan Rupees (PKR) and include all taxes and duties valid until 30 June 2027. A refundable 5% bid price earnest money in the form of a bank draft or pay order in favor of Commandant Central Ordnance Depot Lahore is mandatory.
Eligibility requires registration with Sales Tax and IT Departments, with a copy of the registration certificate attached. Only firms registered with Central Ordnance Depot Lahore Cantt, DGP (Army), or DGDP, or original manufacturers and stockists, may participate. Warranty and guarantee for one year on stores are required, with suppliers responsible for rectifying faults within seven days during the warranty period.
The tender documents can be obtained from COD Lahore Cantt (LP Branch) within 15 working days of publication. Submission deadline is 06 August 2026 by 10:30 AM, with opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Offers must be delivered to the Main Gate of Central Ordnance Depot Lahore or posted to the LP Branch address.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your technical proposal is complete and strictly follows the format with all required documents and samples, as only the technical envelope will be opened initially. Non-compliance or multiple rates per item will lead to rejection. Early submission is advised to avoid last-minute issues and to allow time for clarifications if needed.
