Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is procuring L.T Current Transformers with specifications 400/5 AMP and 800/5 AMP for delivery at MEPCO Regional Stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G Khan. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the electrical infrastructure by supplying high-quality current transformers conforming to WAPDA/PEPCO/NTDC standards (DDS-80:2007 amended to date).
The technical scope includes supply of 800 units of 400/5 AMP and 255 units of 800/5 AMP current transformers. The transformers must be brand new, physically fit without damages, and bear relevant reference numbers. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises by the Chief Engineer (M.I) Lahore or authorized representatives along with MEPCO officials. The delivery schedule requires 50% of the quantity within 60 days and the remaining 50% within 90 days or earlier.
Eligible bidders must comply with PEC registration, be on the active tax payer list of FBR, and not be blacklisted by WAPDA or DISCOs. Experience with MEPCO or other DISCOs and valid prototype approvals are required. Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of bid security and comply with all tender conditions including fixed pricing and delivery timelines.
The tender documents are available on EPADS v2.0, and all bids must be submitted electronically by Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
