Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Material Management) in Lahore is procuring LT Type CT Operated AMI Smart Energy Meters under Tender No 4369 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement involves supply of 1200 units of unidirectional but programmable for bi-directional use smart energy meters with PTA compliance and 4G/3G communication modules. The meters must meet NTDC Design & Specification Nos. DDS-50:2007, 98:2011, 110:2012 (all amended to date) and include features such as a minimum 2000mAh backup battery with super capacitor support, PITC-UDIL compliant MDC driver software, and security measures against unauthorized access and tampering.
The technical scope includes delivery to multiple regional stores in Lahore with a delivery period of 90 days from the issuance of the purchase order. The meters must be inspected at the manufacturer's premises and comply with prototype approval requirements. Bidders must be registered with LESCO or any WAPDA formation under the relevant category and provide valid FBR/ATL registration. Experience of at least two years supplying similar equipment to LESCO, DISCO, or WAPDA formations is mandatory.
