Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Material Management) invites bids for the procurement of LT Type CT Operated AMI Smart Energy Meters for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specific to Lahore and involves the supply of advanced smart energy meters designed for efficient power monitoring and control. Items being procured:
- LT TOU CT Operated AMI Smart Energy Meters (Quantity: 4000 Nos)
These meters are unidirectional but programmable for bi-directional use via optical port. They are LT type CT & PT operated, 3-Phase, 4 wire, 3 element, 3x230/400 V, 5/10 Amp, 50 Hz with Accuracy Class 0.5s (kWh). The meters include PTA compliant 4G/3G communication modules with backward compatibility to 2G for remote metering systems, along with MDC driver/software. Specifications comply with NTDC Design & Standard DDS-50:2007, 98:2011, 110:2012 (all amended to date) and IEC-62055-31 for relay with remote disconnect/reconnect capability. Backup battery capacity is minimum 2000mAh with super capacitor support. MDC software is PITC-UDIL compliant. The material must strictly adhere to NTDC/PPMC standard specifications. Delivery schedule requires 50% quantity within 60 days and remaining 50% from 61st to 120th day from purchase order issuance.
Eligibility criteria include PEC registration under relevant category, valid FBR/ATL registration, and experience with similar contracts. Bidders must submit a Power of Attorney, signed tender documents, technical compliance undertakings, integrity pact, no deviation certificates, and declarations regarding blacklisting. Prototype approval from PPMC/NGC is mandatory or an undertaking for fresh approval within delivery schedule. Bid security in acceptable form is required.
