Tender Description
The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of T-2074 20/.415 KV 100 KVA Transformers for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned to be executed in Quetta, Balochistan, under the reference number P116032. The bidding process will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform, ensuring transparency and ease of participation for all interested suppliers.
Items being procured:
- T-2074 20/.415 KV 100 KVA Transformers, total quantity 8 units, with delivery split into 4 units within 1 to 60 days and 4 units within 61 to 120 days, to be delivered at QESCO Regional Store, Sheikhmanda Airport Chowk, Quetta.
The transformers must conform to the technical specifications as per DDS-69-2004 (amended to date). Bidders are required to have valid prototype approval and satisfactory past performance with QESCO or other DISCOs. Registration with FBR, inclusion on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and compliance with all eligibility criteria are mandatory. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under a Single Stage One Envelope procedure.
Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security or bid securing declaration is required as per the bidding documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee equivalent to 5% of the contract price.
