Maintenance of Distribution System Involving Replacement of H.T/L.T Jumpers, Transformers, Bus Bars, Insulators and Tree Trimming for Northern Circle LESCO

The O&M Distribution department of Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) invites bids for the maintenance of the distribution system in the Northern Circle of LESCO, Lahore. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the reliability, safety, and operational efficiency of the electricity distribution network serving Lahore and surrounding districts. The scope includes replacement and repair works to ensure uninterrupted power supply and safety for staff, public, and equipment. Items being procured: - Replacement of LT Bus Bar (3267 Nos.) - Replacement of 11 kV Droppers on Transformer HT Side (2531 Nos.) - Replacement of Cross Arm (steel/wooden) (962 Nos.) - Disc Insulator Replacement (342 Nos.) - Pin Insulator Replacement (1034 Nos.) - Set Right Tilted LT Structure (17 Sets) - Set Right Tilted HT Structure (51 Sets) - Set Right Tilted LT Spun Pole (1 Set) - Set Right Tilted HT Spun Pole (5 Sets) - Replacement of HT jumpers (1438 Nos.) - Tree Trimming (541 Trees) - Replacement of D-Fuse Fittings (1504 Nos.) - Set Right of LT Sagging (34 Spans) - Set Right of HT Sagging (58 Dead Circuits) The technical scope covers replacement of deteriorated conductors, HT/LT jumpers, distribution transformers, bus bars, broken disc and pin insulators, cross arms, mid-spanning, setting right of tilted poles and structures, installation of insulated conductors, replacement of dropout cutouts (D-sets), and tree trimming. The work will be supervised by the Superintendent Engineer and executed under strict safety and quality standards following WAPDA/LESCO design instructions. The contract duration is 120 days with daily shutdowns of 8 hours per feeder. Eligibility requires bidders to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C6 or above and technical category EE-04 or EE-05, active taxpayers with FBR and PRA, and not blacklisted. Joint ventures are allowed with both partners meeting eligibility criteria. Bid security and performance guarantees are mandatory.
