Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Bahawalnagar Cantt to undertake maintenance and repair works for electrical transformers, water supply lines, and associated infrastructure under the Military Engineer Services. The scope includes internal and external water supply line maintenance, transformer upkeep, and minor works related to electrical supply lines and building repairs. These works are critical for ensuring uninterrupted utility services within the cantonment area.
The projects require contractors to have experience with civil and electrical engineering tasks, including handling water supply pipelines and electrical transformers. The site is located in Bahawalnagar Cantt, where contractors must navigate logistical and technical challenges typical of military installations, such as security protocols and coordination with the Army Garrison Engineer.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and provide valid NTN and GST certificates. They should also be on the approved MES contractor list or submit proof of financial standing and past work experience. Compliance with FBR ATL requirements for the fiscal year 2025-26 is essential to avoid disqualification.
Bids must be submitted by 1130 hours on 6 March 2026, with technical bids opening at 1200 hours and financial bids at 1230 hours the same day. Submission is to be made in sealed envelopes at the AGE (Army) Bahawalnagar office. Contractors should ensure all documentation, including earnest money deposits and technical details, are complete and accurate.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific earnest money deposit requirements and ensure the Call Deposit Receipt is pledged correctly to avoid bid rejection. Also, verify the contractor’s status on the MES approved list to streamline the pre-qualification process.
