Maintenance and Repair to Sindh Secretariat Building III (Old KDA Building) Karachi

The Provincial Buildings Division-II invites bids for the maintenance and repair works at Sindh Secretariat Building III (Old KDA Building) located in Karachi. This procurement is aimed at addressing day-to-day complaints and ensuring the upkeep of the building under the supervision of the Executive Engineer. Items being procured include: - Fixing approved quality door closers on 22 doors - Providing and fixing doors, windows, and ventilators of first-class deodar wood frames and teak wood ply shutters covering 182 Sft - Supplying and fixing window printed blinds (horizontal/vertical) of approved color covering 174 Sft - Fixing handle locks of approved make (15 Nos) - Removing debris from Sindh Secretariat Buildings including collection, disposal, and loading on trucks - Fixing wooden cabinets with shutters and back shelves using laminated lassani sheet and partal wood framework covering 191.96 Sft - Fixing gypsum board false ceilings covering 468.50 Sft - Fixing various locks, handles, and catchers as directed - Supplying and pasting frosted paper designs on glass windows covering 351 Sft - Providing and fixing lavatory basins, European type W.C. pans, C.P. muslim showers, and bib cocks - Providing UPVC pipes and fittings of various diameters - Fixing commode seat covers, flush tanks, and summer motor pumps - Rewinding mono block motor pump sets - Boring for tube wells up to 100 ft depth including casing pipe sinking and withdrawal The technical scope covers civil works, water supply and sanitation, and facility management services. The site is located at Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi. Bidders must have valid PEC registration where applicable, NTN registration, and provide bid security of 5% of the bid amount which will convert into performance guarantee after successful bidding. The contract period is three months from the date of commencement with a bid validity of 90 days. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from bills.
