Tender Description
The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites bids for major renovation works at its IBB Satyana Road branch in Faisalabad, Punjab. This procurement is specifically for extensive refurbishment and renovation including civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and furniture works. The project is planned for completion within 180 days and is part of the financial year 2025-26 operations. The scope covers dismantling existing structures, RCC works, masonry, plaster, flooring with porcelain tiles, granite works, glass partitions, wooden furniture, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, air conditioning installation, and security systems. The works also include detailed finishing such as painting, false ceilings, and installation of specialized equipment like strong room doors and CCTV wiring.
Eligible bidders must have active FBR and provincial tax registration, valid PEC registration in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and EE-04, and experience of completing at least three similar projects of banks or financial institutions costing not less than PKR 4 million in the last three years. Blacklisted firms or those involved in corrupt practices are disqualified. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 11:00 AM on June 9, 2026, with original bid security of PKR 600,000 submitted to NBP Lahore office before the deadline. The technical and financial bids will be evaluated on a least cost basis with a 365-day bid validity period.
The submission address for original bid security and bid opening is the Office of VP/Wing Head, Engineering Wing Central, NBP Regional Headquarters Building, 26-Mclagon Road, Lahore. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical proposals including method statements, mobilization and construction schedules, and equipment details. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of original bid security to avoid disqualification, as electronic submission alone is insufficient. Also, bidders should prepare detailed 3D design views as part of the technical requirements to align with NBP's standards and expectations. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified contractors to engage in a prestigious banking sector renovation project with clear regulatory compliance and procedural transparency.
