Tender Description
The National Insurance Company Limited (Ministry of Commerce) invites bids for the procurement of Managed Network Switches, Wireless Access Points and Smart Network Rack with installation at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the network infrastructure across these key cities.
Items being procured:
- 18 Managed Network Switches (C1300-24FP-4G or Equivalent)
- 18 Wireless Access Points (Cisco Aironet 2800 or 3700 Series or Equivalent)
- 1 Smart Network Rack (600*1200*2000mm / 42U)
- 2 42U Network Racks 800 x 1000
The technical specifications include advanced Layer 2/3 features for switches, controller-based Wi-Fi 5 wireless access points compatible with Cisco controllers, and robust network racks with cooling and monitoring facilities. The equipment must be brand new, bear relevant certifications, and come with a 3-year local warranty. Installation will be carried out at the offices in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have an office in Karachi, be active taxpayers, not blacklisted, and be authorized partners of the proposed brands. Bidders must provide support for 3 years and ensure equipment is registered in the name of NICL.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 by **Thursday, October 15, 2026 11:00 AM**. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security is not required but a bid securing declaration must be submitted. The evaluation will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) methodology.
