Tender Description
The Shiekh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Institute of Cardiology in Quetta invites bids for the supply of medical equipment and accessories. This procurement is specifically for the healthcare sector under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Items being procured:
- Medical Equipment and Accessories (Total Item(s) Count: 30).
The scope includes supplying high-quality medical devices and accessories suitable for cardiology applications. The bidder must ensure all products meet regulatory standards and provide catalogues or technical offers with complete specifications. Supplies must be priced reasonably, below trade prices for bulk orders. The contract requires delivery and service within two months from the supply order date. Shelf-life for medicines must be 75% to 80% from the supply date for local and imported products respectively. The bidder must also agree to replace disposable items for the Cath Lab as per requirements.
Eligibility criteria include three assignments of similar nature and complexity worth PKR 35 million in the last three years, with a turnover of at least PKR 50 million in the previous three years. The bidder must be on the Active Taxpayer List with a valid sales tax certificate and not blacklisted by any Pakistani procuring agency. Joint ventures are not allowed. Bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call is mandatory. Separate authorization from manufacturers/importers is required for all quoted items, along with registration with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan or provisional certificate.
