Procurement of Microwave Hydrothermal Unit with Integrated Stirrer for Comsats University Islamabad Lahore Campus

The Comsats University, Islamabad (Lahore Campus) invites sealed bids for the procurement of a Microwave Hydrothermal Unit with integrated Stirrer under the PSF funded project awarded to Dr. Aamir Razaq, Physics Department, CUI Lahore Campus. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and bids are to be submitted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0. The procurement follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Items being procured: - Microwave Hydrothermal Unit with integrated Stirrer - Power consumption: 1500 Watts - Output power: 750 Watts - Power Supply: 220 V and 50 Hz - Frequency: 2450±50 MHz - Stirrer: 30W motor, 0–1800 rpm infinitely variable speed control - Capacity: 40 Liter - Digital Display - Inner Steel body covered with Teflon layer or equivalent - Contact PTFE Temperature Sensor Probe (0–250°C, accuracy ±1°C) - High Borosilicate Glass Reaction Vessel, standard multi-neck flask (250 mL/500 mL open/closed system capability) - Teflon chamber for Microwave hydrothermal treatment (Capacity 250 mL, Temp. stability 700 °C) - Reflux/Condenser & Liquid Addition Port - Height-Adjustable PTFE Shelf Frame, non-metallic microwave-transparent support table - PTFE Microwave Reactor Vessel: Teflon lined vessels with lids of 50 ml = 100 qty and 100 ml = 100 qty The technical scope includes supply and delivery of the unit to Comsats University Islamabad, Defence Road, Lahore. The unit must meet the detailed specifications and quality standards as per the bidding documents. The warranty period is one year, with 5% retention money held by CUI Lahore Campus, released after satisfactory completion of the warranty period. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR (NTN/GSTN) and comply with all legal and technical requirements. Bid security must be submitted in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on October 8, 2026, with the bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day. Manual submissions will not be accepted.
