Miscellaneous Civil Works at Bahria University Karachi Campuses

The P&D Directorate of Bahria University invites sealed bids for Miscellaneous Civil Works at Bahria University Karachi Campuses, specifically for two major jobs: Seepage Treatment of Washrooms and Repair of Ramp at BUDC&H Building near PNS SHIFA DHA Phase II, and Establishment/Shifting of Boys/Girls Gym Remaining Work at BUKC near 13 National Stadium Road, Karachi. The procurement is conducted under National Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Seepage treatment including removal and reinstallation of European Water Closets, wash basins, demolition and replacement of bathroom floor and wall tiles, PCC, stone chips filling, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, plumbing with PPR and uPVC pipes, valves, Muslim showers, squatting pans, floor traps, gypsum false ceiling, plaster repair, concrete block masonry, white cement finishing, graphite work, and epoxy anti-skid coating for ramp repair. - Gym remaining works including repair/replacement of corrugated roof sheets, installation of aluminium composite panels, concrete base layers, block masonry, precast reinforced concrete roof slabs, plastering, ceramic tiles, PVC doors, gypsum false ceiling, partition cubicles, tint paper on glazing, vinyl flooring, toughened glass doors, aluminium windows, wooden framework, staircase finishing, painting, wallpaper, PVC wall panels, plumbing and electrical wiring including concealed wiring, LED lights, fans, switches, MCBs, and AC unit installation. The scope covers all civil, electrical, and plumbing works with brand new materials, proper finishing, curing, testing, and making good of any damages during execution. All works shall be executed as per BOQ, specifications, drawings, and instructions of the Engineer In-Charge. Eligibility requires valid PEC registration (C-6 category or above) with minimum 5 years experience, NTN registration, and compliance with FBR and other statutory requirements. Bid security amounts are Rs. 240,000 for the seepage and ramp job and Rs. 291,313 for the gym remaining work. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 13 October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with original bid security submitted physically to specified offices in Islamabad and Karachi. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents, ensure all required forms and bid securities are submitted timely, and register on EPADS v2.0 to participate. The contract includes a one-year defect liability period and liquidated damages of 1% per day up to 10% of contract value for delays. Payment terms include running payments with minimum IPC of Rs. 2 million and final payment after acceptance certificate issuance.
