Tender Description

The Office of The District Council, Rawalpindi invites bids from approved contractors for the Maintenance and Rehabilitation (M&R) scheme on an item rate basis under the EP system as per PPRA rules for the Financial Year 2026-2027. The procurement is specific to Rawalpindi district and involves rehabilitation and repair works on various link roads and streets. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation of Link Roads: Besoota, Upper Sairi, Lower Sairi, Lower Berooti & Link Road Village Samman Union Council Narrar Tehsil Kahuta - Repair/Rehabilitation of Street from Masjid to House Awais Kyani & Main Street Moreen Union Council Narrar Tehsil Kahuta - Rehabilitation of Madina Street Dhoke Munshi, UC Dhoke Munshi The scope includes civil works for road and street rehabilitation in the specified union councils and tehsil areas within Rawalpindi district. Contractors are required to quote their rates as per PPRA rules on the EP system, ensuring compliance with item-wise rates. Installation of caution boards containing messages regarding prevention against human, animal, and financial loss will be the responsibility of the contractor. Eligibility criteria include being an approved contractor for the current financial year 2026-2027. Bidding documents are available on the PPRA website and the EP system portal. Earnest money deposits are specified for each scheme, and contractors quoting rates more than 5% below the estimated cost must deposit performance security within 15 days of notice issuance. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of 5% earnest money and re-tendering. The last date for bid submission on the EP system is 20-08-2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 02:00 PM in the office of District Council Rawalpindi.
