Open Framework Agreement for the Repair of Machinery & Equipment

The Directorate of PCA (North), Islamabad (Pakistan Customs) invites qualified suppliers to prequalify for an Open Framework Agreement for the Repair of Machinery & Equipment. This agreement will cover the on-demand repair services of office machinery and equipment located in Islamabad. The framework agreement is for a period of 36 months and will enable subsequent call-off contracts for repair works as required by the department. Items being procured: - Repair of 200 units of machinery and equipment The contractor must provide qualified technicians, appropriate tools, and necessary facilities to carry out fault diagnosis and repairs. Replacement parts must be new, genuine, or approved compatible equivalents meeting manufacturer specifications. All work must comply with manufacturer recommendations and safety requirements. Repairs should be completed within the specified period, and machinery must not be removed from departmental premises without authorization. Warranty terms for workmanship and parts must be provided, with defects rectified free of cost during the warranty period. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 5 years experience in relevant repair services, registration with FBR (GST/NTN), active taxpayer status, and sound financial position. Only Islamabad/Rawalpindi based outlets are eligible. A Call Deposit Receipt of Rs.30,000/- in favor of DDO Directorate of PC&IA (North), Islamabad is required. The firms must be capable of providing timely repair services and warranty support. Applications must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 04:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 04:30 PM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Interested bidders should register on https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ if not already registered. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents including proof of experience, financial soundness, and valid registrations are complete and uploaded correctly on EPADS to avoid disqualification. Timely submission through the portal is critical as late or manual bids will be rejected.
