Outsourcing of Janitorial, Museum Attendant and Electrician Services at Lok Virsa Islamabad

The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa), located at Garden Avenue, Shakarparian, Islamabad, is inviting bids for the outsourcing of janitorial, museum attendant, and electrician services for its offices and museums. This procurement is aimed at ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and operational support for Lok Virsa and its associated museums including the Pakistan Monument Museum and Heritage Museum. Items being procured: - Janitorial services including sanitary workers/sweepers (06 male, 02 female) - Museum Attendants for dusting (04 personnel) - Electrician services (01 personnel) The janitorial services cover comprehensive cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning of washrooms, corridors, offices, lobbies, windows, staircases, and other common areas on a continuous basis. The contractor is responsible for supplying and maintaining dust bins, garbage collection and disposal, spraying air fresheners, disinfectants, and fumigation as required. Museum Attendants will perform delicate dusting of artifacts without providing cleaning materials. Electricians must be available during duty hours for electrical maintenance. The contract requires the provision of all cleaning materials, tools, and equipment, which must be of high quality and environmentally friendly. Eligibility criteria include registration with Income and Sales Tax Departments, active status on the FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL), at least three years of relevant experience, and having an office setup in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Bidders must submit bid security of 2% of the total bid value and performance security of 10% of the contract value. The contract duration is one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance. The tender follows a single stage-two envelope procedure as per Rule 36(b) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bids must be submitted electronically via e-PADS V.20 by the closing date.
