Tender Description
The Municipal Corporation Mirpurkhas invites sealed tenders for outsourcing labor for sweeping of roads, streets, and cleaning of open surface drains and sewerage lines in various locations within Mirpurkhas city. This procurement is aimed at maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the city to meet public demand and comply with water commission directives.
Items being procured:
- Sweeping of Roads, Streets & cleaning open surface drains & sewerage lines from Khan Naka to City Police Station for six months from 01 November 2026 to 30 April 2027
The scope includes labor outsourcing for sweeping and cleaning of roads, streets, open drains, and sewerage lines to ensure hygienic conditions in the specified areas. The contract duration is six months, and the work will be executed under the Municipal Corporation Mirpurkhas using OZT Share funds.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered in the waste management sector, hold licenses from Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) for non-hazardous waste, and have NTN and SRB registration. Firms must have at least five years of experience in rural and urban waste management, dumping, and recycling, with two years of experience in waste management capacity building. Submission of audit reports for 2025 from reputable chartered accounts firms with UDIN code is mandatory.
The tender fee is Rs. 1000, and earnest money equal to 2% of the bid must be attached in the form of a pay order or bank draft in favor of Municipal Corporation Mirpurkhas. Bids will be received until 28 October 2026 at 12:00 pm and opened the same day at 12:30 pm. In case of government holidays, the process will continue the next working day.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial proposals, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Timely submission and adherence to bid validity and security requirements will be critical for successful participation.
